FLYBOY CANADA – REFUGEE & HARVEY ISLANDS

FLYBOY CANADA – Refugee & Harvey Islands were installed summer 2023. Very short, purposely undisturbed/unmanicured courses accessible by kayakers/paddlers only (Boat docks are available but must be reserved and paid for with the city). These course were meant for a short fun experience along with a day of paddling. They are not meant or designed for serious play.

Course name: Flyboy Canada – Refugee & Harvey Islands

Location: Course plays on Refugee & Harvey Islands. Best paddler launch aree from St. Lawrence Park, Brockville. Caution: Paddling across the channel is required to reach Refugee Island.

Cost: Free to play course. No Tee time required.

Time Required: Approximately 20 minutes to play each.

Discs: Residents with a library card can sign out a beginner set of three at the Brockville public library Tuesday through Saturday. Club has some discs available for purchase.

Safety, Group Sizes and Etiquette:

MUST HAVE GOOD SHOES. Treat your feet to the same protection as you would on a hike. No flip flops, crocs etc…

PLAY SAFE. ALWAYS HAVE A SPOTTER. There are no accidents in Disc Golf just bad choices. Play safely and to your skill level. Do not throw towards people or people’s property such as homes or vehicles. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL OTHERS.

NO LITTERING. The city provides garbage bins. Use Them.

Like traditional golf, groups should be about 4 or 5 players. More players than that could slow play down for others on the course. Proceed only when hole is completely clear from players ahead of you.

**Important: This is a free and shared space course. Disc golfers do not have right of way. Caution to campers and sun bathers where applicable.
