Safety, Group Sizes and Etiquette:

MUST HAVE GOOD SHOES. Treat your feet to the same protection as you would on a hike. No flip flops, crocs etc…

PLAY SAFE. ALWAYS HAVE A SPOTTER. There are no accidents in Disc Golf just bad choices. Play safely and to your skill level. Do not throw towards people or people’s property such as homes or vehicles. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL OTHERS.

NO LITTERING. There are two garbage bins. One at hole 1 and the other at hole 5.

Like traditional golf, groups should be about 4 or 5 players. More players than that could slow play down for others on the course. Proceed only when hole is completely clear from players ahead of you.

**Important: This is a free and shared space course. Disc golfers do not have right of way. If kids are playing tag on a hole, you are out of luck, skip the hole. There is no tolerance for any rudeness on this course.

Maps and Directions:

There are two sets of tees. Maps provided below.

Beginners should only use the Red Tees as Blue Tees require more skill.

You can park on the road or on the grass at the first hole. The entrance is 197 Bartholomew St.

Getting Around Flyboy Canada One

So here is what you need to know and be aware of before you show up at the course. All tees have red and blue flags to help you navigate the course. The tees consist of two painted red bricks flush with the ground. You throw from the tees to the elevated metal basket with chains ending when the disc rests in the basket. You count and play exactly like traditional golf. Or don’t count and just have fun. Laugh hard when the disc hits a tree.  *Edit – the course has expanded and the bricks are not update yet. Please use the below map to navigate properly. Additionally, there are arrows attached to the bottom of each basket to direct you towards the general direction of the next hole’s tee.

You will have to walk down to and over four stones in a small creek. Possibly the only time a cart may be an issue.

Lastly, and most important, you must abide all the Covid rules stated. The parks department is directly across the street from the course and they have promised they will be watching. Let’s show them them our appreciation for this great opportunity and be the respectful and considerate players we are know to be. That’s it. Enjoy Flyboy Canada One.
